Help!

Yesterday, I was feeling a bit blue from lack of sunshine.
I woke up this morning with this Beatles song on my mind.
I grew up with this song but I haven't heard it recently- I guess my heart had though!

HELP!
HELP! I NEED SOMEBODY,
HELP! NOT JUST ANYBODY,
HELP! YOU KNOW I NEED SOMEONE, HELP.

WHEN I WAS YOUNGER, SO MUCH YOUNGER THAN TODAY,
I NEVER NEEDED ANY BODY'S HELP IN ANY WAY.
BUT NOW THOSE DAYS ARE GONE, AND I'M NOT SO SELF ASSURED,
NOW I FIND, I'VE CHANGED MY MIND, I'VE OPENED UP THE DOORS.

HELP ME IF YOU CAN, I'M FEELING DOWN
AND I DO APPRECIATE YOU BEING AROUND.
HELP ME GET MY FEET BACK ON THE GROUND,
WON'T YOU PLEASE, PLEASE HELP ME.

AND NOW MY LIFE HAS CHANGED IN OH SO MANY WAYS,
MY INDEPENDENCE SEEMS TO VANISH IN THE HAZE.
BUT EVERY NOW AND THEN I FEEL SO INSECURE,
I KNOW THAT I JUST NEED YOU LIKE I'VE NEVER DONE BEFORE.

HELP ME IF YOU CAN, I'M FEELING DOWN
AND I DO APPRECIATE YOU BEING AROUND.
HELP ME GET MY FEET BACK ON THE GROUND,
WON'T YOU PLEASE, PLEASE HELP ME.

WHEN I WAS YOUNGER, SO MUCH YOUNGER THAN TODAY,
I NEVER NEEDED ANY BODY'S HELP IN ANY WAY.
BUT NOW THESE DAYS ARE GONE, I'M NOT SO SELF ASSURED,
NOW I FIND I'VE CHANGED MY MIND I'VE OPENED UP THE DOORS.

HELP ME IF YOU CAN, I'M FEELING DOWN
AND I DO APPRECIATE YOU BEING ROUND.
HELP ME, GET MY FEET BACK ON THE GROUND,
WON'T YOU PLEASE,
PLEASE HELP ME,
HELP ME,
HELP ME, OH.

Hi Holly, I hope your blues have passed now! Thanks for stopping by my blog and saying hi! I hope the sun comes out today where you are! I love the Beatles too, but who doesn't right? Suzie

Thanks for coming by, Rene' and Suzie!

My house lets in very little light because of porches on the front and back and it's been so cold that I haven't wanted to get out in the sun much. But out I must go!

Have a great day, girls!

I've been meaning to tell you that I appreciate the photo advice you gave to Priscila on her blog. I've been having the hardest time figuring out how to use my camera but I'm coming to find that the secret is in the editing!

Well, I'm glad your studio is beckoning! I look forwrd to seeing your next project!

Good morning, Elen!

Thanks for the encouragement! I'm still battling the blues a bit- another round of sickness for us all...

I think you know how that is.

:<

But, I'm able to keep things in perspective. I know this will pass. I just want to feel better by Thanksgiving for the sake of my little boy, well and for my sake, too! Preparing a feast when you don't feel well isn't any fun!

Thanks again for coming by!

Let's see, I have mostly red/green/white silver/gold decor for Christmas. I'm not oposed to using other colors, though. :>

Oh Holly, I know exactly how you are feeling! I have been feeling the very same way. It hasnt been sunny here in days. That is partly why I dont like this time of year.

I hope tomorrow offers sunshine and happiness for you!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Amy
