July

Hello! I'm glad you've stopped by. I hope you're enjoying the blessings of an abundant Summer!

You might be wondering, "What type of blog is this anyway?" Simply put, this blog is about having a relationship with your creator. It's not about theology, doctrine or creeds and I claim no label, group or movement. Oh sure, if you're a good detective, you could read through every post here for the last year and gather some clues about where I've been, who I've been and who I am now. You could even find that my emphasis has changed from time to time. For everything there is a season and the Lord sheds light in different areas as needed. That's why you might find one post that really speaks to you and others that really don't. :> But, if you come back in a couple of months or read back a few posts, you might find just what you needed to hear. Our Father knows just what you need. He also loves you tremendously and amazingly!

The love of God has been made very real to me and you will read a lot about His love here. Nothing can compare to His love. You'll also see that I enjoy creation. I am particularly fond of mountains, water, sky and flowers. Sometimes I come here just to take a little nature walk! If you do too, that's okay. Our Father speaks to us in many ways and speaking to us through His creation is one of His most creative.

One of the most amazing things about the Internet is how it connects people from all walks of life from all over the world. I love seeing how God lives and moves and has His being through each one of you. You're amazing! Never doubt it! I love to know that you are there, so please feel free to say hello or make a comment. If you return during this month of July you will see that new posts will appear below this one.

Never forget that God is on your side!

Hello Holly
just to let you know I am enjoying your pics and thought each month.I have done some of the "detective work"just because I knew you at one time. Who would have thought??
I am happy you are a sister in Christ. Keep up the good work!

Well hello there, anonymous...
:>

Let's see, this is fun... Who would have thought... what?? :>

I'm happy I'm a sister in Christ, too. Thanks for the encouragement!

Anonymous, my curiosity is really mounting here! Aren't you going to give me even a little hint? When did you know me?

Anonymous said...

I'm not sure I am able to send these succesfully so I will try the anonymous way again. Who would have thought,? is about long ago in Enumclaw.many of the people we knew then are still pretty messed up with drugs and under the burden of other sin. Some have died.It simply makes me feel better when I come across those of us who have been set free by Christ.

Ah-ha! Mystery solved! Hello, Pete! Good to hear from you.
:>

Yes... who would have ever thought that when I was at my most miserable, the Lord of glory was actually calling and drawing me?! That's why I try to rememeber that we can't judge a person's heart from what we see happening on the outside or even by the words we hear coming out of their mouths! Oh, how miserable and broken I was yet my heart was loooonging for God! I just didn't know it.

How often I've prayed for different ones there in Enumclaw as they came to my mind through the years. I'm so glad you know the Lord now too and I'm sure there are many others who do as well. Thank you Lord, for deliverence!

I know my friend Lori S. died in a tragic way. So sad... You say others have died, too. Is there anyone else I would have known?

Hello again, Candy!

I love your pink Rose pic. That is a Rose isn't it? I once had a pink Camilia bush in that same shade. I would tell others that she was my little girl. :>

Well, you're welcome for the comment and thank YOU for yours!

Hi Holly :)
Thanks again for the comment today :)
I just seen your comment after mine on here... yes, my little profile picture is of a pink rose. I just love it. I was planning on changing the picture soon to a different rose. Can you tell I like roses haha. I like your profile pic of yourself, very nice.
I hope you are doing well. I just wanted to say Hi.
Hugs to you,
Candy

Thanks, Candy! ~Heart~

Notice I'm wearing pink and even have a pink mountain in the back ground? :>

I like pictures of roses but I don't like growing them because of the thorns. I like to play with my flowers a lot; pinching them back, dead- heading them, picking and transplanting them... They really know when I'm around!

Ya know, I really, really, really love kittens! :> One of my earliest memories is of my grandmother playing the piano and singing The Three little Kittens song for me. Maybe that has something to do with it.

Have a glorious day!
