Happy New Year!

Did you make any resolutions?
I didn't.
I never have.
I know that apart from the Father, I can do nothing.
So, I just watch and see what He wants to do.
Does that sound lazy?
I hope not.

Happy new year Holly! I don't make resolutions either, I used to but they they were usually tossed out by February! Enjoy your weekend. :)

I LOVE your way of thinking. I don't make resolutions either. Never quite thought of the reasons behind it but I hope it's OK that I adopt your motto.

Love you Site...such a blessing!

Thank you, Rebecca!

I think one of the most draining feelings is disapointment in myself. God knows how to raise His kids quite well and I'd rather let Him raise me up than me try to do it!

Hey Holly!
The only New Year's commitment I have ever kept is last year's commitment....and it really wasn't a resolution it was a nudging from God to read the Bible in one year, from cover to cover. I followed a daily schedule of reading. It was alot of reading, and I am not much of a reader.... but it was so worth getting to know God better. I am so glad God was able to help me do that....it's the best thing I've ever done. I had always wanted to read the Bible in it's entirety, but I'd get started and not complete it. I had always read the Bible with a devotional, but I really wanted to learn what God wanted me to hear line by line cover to cover. It's the best thing I've ever done. God will lead us on our path of what he wants us to do. P.S. I am loving your new blog too!

Hi, Queenie!

(OOOHHH! I love the picture on this post!)

Now see, that nudging from the Lord made all the difference in your commitment- didn't it?! To me, that's the key.
